There’s no fixed monthly traffic cap on your website. If something you share takes off, that’s good news. Short bursts of traffic are part of the web, and don’t automatically change your plan.

When busy becomes business as usual.

If your website exceeds 1 million page views or 1,000 GB of data delivered in each of two consecutive calendar months, we’ll get in touch to discuss an Enhanced Service plan. This is a review threshold, not a switch that takes your website offline.

Enhanced Service starts at £199 per month and includes 1 million page views and 1,000 GB delivered each month. Above those allowances, the starting rates are:

Both allowances apply independently. Excess usage is calculated proportionally, not rounded up to whole blocks. A GB means 1 billion bytes delivered, not a GB of files stored.

We agree the plan, measurement method, applicable taxes and start date with you before any extra charges apply. No retrospective overage charges for your standard plan. An unusually demanding site may need an individual quote.

Fair to everyone.

This is a service for publishing your own website and work. It isn’t a file-distribution service, video-streaming platform, proxy or bulk download host. Exceptionally large stored libraries, automated requests or processing demands may also need a conversation, even when page views are low.

Pornography, child sexual abuse material, sexual exploitation and non-consensual intimate images are prohibited. Lawful non-sexual art is assessed in context. Only publish material you have the right to share. Don’t use the service for unlawful content, fraud, phishing, malware, spam, harassment, or attempts to disrupt other people’s websites or access their accounts.

We may block abusive traffic or restrict activity that threatens the service or its users. Where practical, we’ll explain the issue and give you an opportunity to resolve it. A genuine audience spike on its own is not abuse.

Report harmful content through our report form. Do not send or upload copies of suspected illegal imagery. You can appeal moderation decisions through support.

A clear conversation, first.

Visitor analytics help you understand your audience; they aren’t an invoice. Billing measurements must exclude identified attacks and use the method agreed in your Enhanced Service plan. If we can’t agree a suitable plan, we’ll give you reasonable notice and an opportunity to export your content before ending service, unless urgent action is needed to prevent harm.
